It features a collection of century-old buildings in Gothic, Romanesque, and Baroque styles, and is celebrated as an ‘international architecture exhibition.’ With splendid views of historical buildings on one side and modern skyscrapers across the Huangpu River, the Bund offers a mesmerizing sight, especially at night when the lights are aglow, allowing visitors to appreciate Shanghai’s rich history and modernity.
